Antonio Berardi.
Viewing Antonio Berardi's Fall 2014 Collection was akin to a Roman Orgy. There was so much going on at once that the Senses were overloaded with Stimuli from every angle. The bad thing to compile on top of that is, None of it really was Pleasant to look at this time at Berardi. After showing a Highly Impressive Spring show, This felt Amateurish and Cheap. Gaudy would be Fitting quite well too. It was just Mistake layered on top of Mistake and It felt so foolishly Rank and Pedestrian that one really wondered if this was Berardi at work or he let his design staff run amok!
Green and Purple and Spots and Curving hems and Flouncy Peplums and Too Tight and Too Short and Waist Cinching Quilted panels... Make It STOP! URGH! The worst choices in this Confusion, among the Kelly Bundy Super Short and Tight hemlines were the Absolutely Atrocious Colours. That Green and Fuschia were never going to behave together. Add to that Strange Undulating Ripples created by Pleated seaming and Half Cape Sleeves... Nightmarish. A Christmas Green Gown at Exit No. 19 was Bewilderingly Terrible!
To waste more words on this would be a Tedious and Futile Endeavour. It was Bad. If more words Need be tossed around to describe it... I don't really have them at this moment!
That's All.
Bye4Now!
