Tia Cibani

Weds. 02/05/2014.

An eccentric streak ran through Tia Cibani's Fall 2014 collection, one she said was inspired partly by the Inimitable Social Magpie herself, Iris Apfel. Cibani's primary influence was the "Whirling Dervishes" and these equally diverse elements conspired for a Rich and Varied collection with an Eclectic and Exotic Vibe. Cibani was in a mood for Layering. Textures on textures, print on solid, and more. There was also a poetic play on Volume, from tops and coats to Swirling skirts and dresses.

Gaily tripping through the collection, pieces like Exit No. 4, A Voluminous Mallard Teal Tunic over slim pants, Or Exit No. 10, a Long Grey coat worn over a Lilac draped Jumpsuit stand out, as well as a Mustard coat and pants at Exit No. 16 were the most Viably Current. Cibani gave a Collection full of Whimsy and Exoticism ripe for the modern Bohemian.

That's All.
