Damir Doma.

Weds. 02/26/2014.

While there were some great pieces to bring interest to the Wardrobe of the Fashion Conscious on display at Damir Doma for Fall 2014, the rest of the show didn't add up to much more than a Paltry Percolation of exciting. Grunge could be one theme made out in the collection and after that... Nothing much else. Doma's show was quite forthrightly, Blah on more Blah! The Bland leading the Bland!

The Palette was the first and perhaps most Inexcusable Offence! It offered no Joy, Or Pep. It was Drab. and Where it should have been Autumnal it just felt Dreary! There was no Ease, no Freshness or Lightness... Doma sucked all the qualities of Exuberance out of the clothes with such Maudlin Colorations!

There were some pieces worth the price of admission to this Dull Carnival... A Milk Chocolate Side wrapped Jacket worn with Liquidy Cargo crop Pants, or a Sexy Body Skimming dress with Long sleeves in Black and Caramel on Manon Leloup at Exit No. 18 was For sure in the Right Mode! But other than that... Back to the Drawing board. And another show featuring a Coat shown THREE TIMES in different colours. Again, I Reiterate.... REALLY? Were you that Creatively DEVOID of talent that you had to send the SAME Item out Multiple times as if we didn't get the Idea THE FIRST TIME!? WTF!?!

Here, there was Nothing to Curse, Nor to Praise. It was Less than middle of the Road and More than Awful. It wasn't going to cause any one seeing it to dream about it later. In Fact, One will Hardly Remember it, If at All!

That's All.

Bye4Now!
